King’s Kids

Welcome to KHCC King’s Kids Children’s Website.  We are excited you have chosen to visit and below you will find information regarding King’s Kids.

Sunday School is Sunday at 9:30 am and Kid’s Church is Sunday at 10:30 am.  All children meet in the main sanctuary at 10:30 am and will be sent to Kid’s Church upon dismissal from the sanctuary.

Check In:

Prior to your child attending Kid’s Church, your child will need to be checked-in with one of our friendly staff.  During check-in each parent/guardian will be provided a registration form (for first time attendees) to be completed by a Parent/Guardian.  Upon completion of the registration form, you will then be provided a unique number corresponding your family with your child.  Your child will only be released to the Parent/Guardian who provides the unique number.

Snacks & Allergies:

Snacks may be provided during activities. If your child has any type of food allergy please let the check-in staff know and ensure the food allergy is noted on the registration form. We want to ensure your child’s safety and will take all necessary measures to ensure any allergies will be addressed.

Notifications:

Upon registration, the Parent/Guardian cell phone number will be provided.  In the event the Parent/Guardian is needed during service, the Parent/Guardian will be texted.  Upon receiving the text message, please return to the child’s location and speak with a staff member and they will direct you.  For the safety of your child, King Hill Christian Church does not change diapers so the Parent/Guardian will need to change the child’s diaper when notified.

Sick Child Policy

It is our desire to provide a healthy and safe environment for all of the children and youth at King Hill Christian Church. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to be considerate of other children at all times. In general, children with the following symptoms should NOT be brought to any children activities:

  • Fever, diarrhea, or vomiting within the last 48 hours;
  • Green or yellow runny nose;
  • Eye or skin infections; and/or
  • Other symptoms of communicable or infectious disease.

Medications Policy

It is the policy of King hill Christian Church not to administer either prescription or non-prescription medications to the children under our care. Medications should be administered by a parent/guardian only. Exceptions to the medications policy may be granted to parents/guardians of children with potentially life-threatening conditions (such as asthma or severe allergic reactions). Parents of such children should address their situation with the Children Leader to develop a plan of action.
